I recently discovered some glazing issues on the straps of my PSM and have it sent in repair right now so using my PM as my daily. Just noticed yesterday that the glazing on my strap has literally MELTED off some on some areas. I’ve heard the Pochette Métis is notorious for having glazing issues. Does anyone know when these issues were “fixed”? I recently noticed that my Pochette Metis, which I got in 2018 and minimally used, has started to have glazing issues. The side flap has begun to lift. It looks minor to me now, so my question is - is it okay to hold off on repairs at LV or should I get this fixed ASAP?
In 2019 Louis Vuitton released a new version of the Monogram Pochette Metis. It looks exactly like the previous one but it's crafted of a thicker canvas. The change of canvas was related to many issues with the previous version. Louis Vuitton also expanded the range of Empreinte colors to Cherry Berry (deep red) and Beige Rose Cream.
