I own the GMT Master II with Black Bezel that I bought last year. I've heard it's possible to switch out the bezels and for whatever reason this summer I feel like switching from black to Pepsi. I recently acquired this beautiful (at least to me) ghost bezel in the attached photo and am considering putting it on a 14060. However, I haven't found any photos of a 14060 + a faded bezel and before I start hunting for the watch too seriously I was hoping someone could share photos of that combo.
When I took my T series 16700 GMT Master in for it's first 5 year service, the pepsi bezel was severely faded. The red was much more pink and the AD seemed quite surprised it was so drastic. Unfortunately, I wasn't very keen on "vingtage looking" pieces at the time and had the insert replaced. Some different purple/fushia shades, and some others Gmt faded insert colors. A faded insert really transform your watch, and it's less expensive than buying another watch. An orange/blue, a purple and a "blue jeans" faded inserts:

What is your opinion of ghost bezels/faded bezels? Personally I think it adds a lot of character to the watch and I tend to look for them in 5 digits. Hence my 16710 having a ghost bezel. How do you like it? (Picture is mine of my 16710). I like "faded" bezel inserts when the color has been changed by UV, in a natural way. I am buying a used GMT with a very faded original Pepsi bezel. RSC will do total OH with the option of new bezel or not at minimal cost. The way I look at it, I'll get a brand new one and ask to keep the original. Doesn't that make .
