Uh-oh, a web search of just "M832118" gets several results on it being a serial number that appeared repeatedly on counterfeits. I'd like to see higher resolution photos of the movement to help identify it. It appears to me to be a Swiss ETA 2836-2 movement, like roughbarked said, rather than a Rolex movement. There's another very small post here about a Jules Rolez. Yours is a lovely French marble clock and known as a timepiece, meaning the movement is time only, no striking of the hours. As you might glean from the little info there is on Rolez , I don't think your clock is 1820-1850. Rolez was apparently active closer to 1900.

According to San Diego Union Tribune sports writer Tod Leonard (on 12-25-07) each golf course that hosts a U.S. Open will receive a complimentary 9-foot Rolex post clock. About the new clock, he says "The green clock is a classic beauty. Its 2-1/2 foot face lights up at night, and inscribed above and below it is "Torrey Pines" and "Est.1957". Tell your Rolex dealer/agent that it runs exactly 20 seconds a day too fast (it shouldn't as it's certified). Then on the time grapher, they'll simply tweak it by the difference - even if on the grapher it reads zero. It's what I do and always results in a happy owner. Takes five minutes or 24h if they do a leak test.
Oct 1, 2011. #3. Most knock-off Rolex watches have a back that screws off like the original. There is a tool that you can purchase from someone like TimeSavers but I can usually remove the back by using a pocket knife to engage, at an angle, into one of the little slots on the outside edge of the back and force it to turn in the CCW direction. I used to get 0-0 for them 40 years ago. Wow, things have changed! I had to sell ogees, tambours, and black mantle clocks for - each. All these clocks were in working condition. The most I got for any clock was 0 for a very nice ships clock worth much more. It’s a buyer’s world in my area. 4thdimension. NAWCC Member. May 26, 2005. #3. Probably not. When one applies for a trademark. there is a box to fill in which descibes the class or category of goods to be sold under trademark. It isn't too rare to see a well known trademark taken advantage of on a different kind of goods. I've got a Rolex walkie-talkie and I've seen rolex TP .

Unfortunately, my collection is limited, mostly, to Vacheron and Omega and I don't know anything about Rolex's. I have done a search on Rolex Gammeter and come up with little or no information.Mar 16, 2011. #1. I recently had to replace an oscillating weight axle on a Rolex 3055 mvt. However, I have found that I am having trouble replacing the clip, or "gib" that secured the jewel, mounted in its plate, to the axle. It seems that the jewel is too thick, but that's not really the problem, as the jewel is original.NAWCC Member. Jul 31, 2024. #3.
